SITE PURPOSE:
Exchange, sell, trade, and buy used college textbooks at the Longhorn Book Exchange. LonghornBookExchange.com is a service set up for students so they can buy and sell used college textbooks directly with other students at the University of Texas at Austin. UT Austin students and the UT Longhorns can sell, trade, swap, buy or exchange their UT textbooks in a cheap and easy way. The Longhorn Book Exchange is a completely FREE SERVICE provided to the Students of the University of Texas at Austin. Buy and sell your used textbooks directly with other students.

EXAMPLE OF USAGE:
Let's take a $100 college textbook for example. Usually the university of texas book store will pay you about $35 for that book and then resell it for around $70. What if you could skip the used textbook store and directly sell your book to the same UT student for $50? You'd get more and he'd pay less! Hopefully clearly listed prices and features will increase competition and lower prices (economics class is useful).
